Mateos met Beatrice in Australia in an anthropological investigation many years ago. When Beatrice introduced him to Blinky, he knew that sooner or later they would end up working together on some project. After his collaboration with the Galapagos Man and the Lightning Woman, Mateos will proceed to make his friend Blinky's costume, the Comet Man.
